- Pangea have been consistently putting out some blistering music over the last year and coming up quick on their benchmark 10th release,something a little bit special from Michael Wilson & Andy Moor,there's room to squeeze one more in this time round from Daniel Ferreira and Jorge García aka Clubbervision.
Scale comes in three mixes the first of which is the Original mix and from its onset were treated to a rich groove made up of beefy percussion and atmospheric,warm stabs that all shift up a notch with the addition of steady bassline and swinging rhythm.After a brief respite the track layers back up with in two stages along with delayed vocal sample to entice us further.The mood gradually begins to twist into a darker affair as an eerie melody creeps in and breaks once more with a pure edge.
Next up is the Blue Haze remix and takes a housier route with more of a jacked up flow,using parts of the original and tweeking more percussive elements around fuller melodies that alter pitch.While the mood remains uplifting the blend of dreamy synthlines and filtery sounds create a wash of emotion that changes throughout.
Last up is the Kontra remix,retaining the energy and flow of the original and adding more vocal cuts over a contorting mix of stabby synths and wraps up this package neat and tight.
