- The veteran Israeli producer Shmuel Flash returns after releases on many labels such as Hooj, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi and now, Harlem Records. This time the talented producer delivers a storming two tracker on Lawlers imprint.
Stylin is first up and it showcases Shmuel at his tough driving house best. As usual, the percussive elements are strong and crisp and they are helped thanks to a nice strong baseline and some somewhat creepy sounds and effects. It is a good solid production from Shmuel that stays strong throughout, especially in the interesting and quirky breakdown late on.
Wannabe follows on the flip and it shows Shmuel in a deeper and chunkier light, with an electro synth driving the track on along some constant beats creating quite an intense production.
Two pretty strong tracks here on Harlem that is well worth a look.
