- The next release on Wallop Limited comes from the studio of Steve Finney under his D2 guise. Solid chunky house here in both sides of the record, with an original mix as well as a Beginerz mix.
First up is the Original Mix which is very smooth from the word go. Nice delicate beats ride throughout the track alongside a deep smooth as silk baseline as well as some nice vocal riffs that stutter in and out of the track. Funky in many aspects, especially as the vocal kicks in late into the track, but pretty solid in many parts, due to the nice baselines.
On the flip, the Beginerz test their reworking prowess, and they come out with a pretty solid reworking. Again pretty smooth, just like the a-side, the track flows very nicely with some crisp beats alongside the nice vocals and smooth low end sounds. A nice deep and chunky reworking here!
A very nice release here by D2, and for lovers of house with a hint of vocals, and some solid baselines, then this really should not be overlooked.
