- Next up on the Plastica Red imprint is a two disc release by Carter & Swain. On this first disc of the Felt Love EP, the Vocal and Dub of Felt Love feature showcasing the electro influences of these artists.
The Vocal Mix is on the a-side, and it begins very smoothly with some solid beats and an nice looped electro riff that is soon joined by a smooth subtle baseline and subtle effected vocal lines. A nice breakdown deep into the track gives the production a nice atmosphere, all while the electro riff keeps pushing the track along nicely.
Unfortunately not much changes on the flip with the Dub Mix apart from the obvious vocal exclusions. The baseline, electro and percussive elements remain largely untouched.
Not a bad first disc at all with both mixes offering pretty much the same.
