- The Mantra Vibes imprint unleash another production talent with E-The-Hot, and they in turn deliver with 4 original productions in The Way We Chill EP.
First up is the slow and funky Body Wrock. At just over 100bpm the track is a smooth and interesting first up production, and gets very delightful towards the middle part where some creepy yet enticing melodies join the smooth flowing beats. A very nice way to start the EP.
Desktop Rally follows and it’s a little more twisted here, with warped sounds and chunky beats making this a nice groovy little production.
Turn it over and you firstly encounter the Ethehot Mix of Down & Out, a nicely created production full of warm sounds and ambient beats as well as some deep baselines that create a very nice groove.
To conclude the EP, Live at the Academy Part 1 delivers a funky production full of catchy riffs, muffled beats and rumbling baselines.
A pretty fun EP here with nice smooth tones throughout. No club tracks here be warned, as everything is quite chilled as the name would suggest.
