- Fitalic is next up on Japanese imprint 19Box following the pretty impressive Roman S release. 'Repriced' is the production and it comes with a 2 Sinners mix that lifts the energy a little higher.
On the a-side is the Original Mix. The production builds early with a pretty standard drum pattern and simple baseline. The real feature of this productions comes about midway into the track with the slightly twisted melodies and very subtle synths. The track does have a good flow which is important, however despite this, the track is far from mind blowing.
2 Sinners Remix the original on the flip, and to be perfectly honest they don’t add much at all. In fact it’s a pretty average trance attempt at a remix, standardising it all too much. Run of the mill synths, drums and pretty much everything else will only leave the original mix on the flip getting a workout.
A disappointing release for a label that has delivered and promises so much more. Im sure they will bounce back.
