Lead track "Credentials" manages to tread the line between a sense of urgency and patience. There's a steady rhythm, but a frenetic edge arrives via disconcerted vocal samples and well-placed claps. The hook is cold and distant, leaving the track with a hypnotic tint that slots in well with its sharp, pristine exterior.
"Pressure," meanwhile, focuses on chaotic principles. It features more intricate structuring—the interplay between hi-hats, sampling and claps are the most infectious of the EP. This controlled intensity gives the EP another dimension, taken full circle by final track "Baidin." The serene melody, reinforced by shuffling atmospherics and a soft kick, evokes contemporaries such as Darling Farah, and signifies a promising start from D££mnds.
