- Already one of the biggest tunes of 2003 is DJ Sneak's Fix My Sink. The tune's appeal is so great that mainstream radio has come to embrace the funk and it's easy to see why - the combination of funky bass, jazzy horns and sax solo on top of a danceable house beat make this tune easy to get down to. Of course there will be people who are split between liking and disliking the vocals, but the basic rhythm should get even the most timid of wall flowers on the floor.
Basement Jaxx even offer up a remix in their signature style - bouncy house using interesting sound stabs and adding in more percussion and a dirty bass filter to mutate the bass. It's a lot noisier than the original tune.
Definitely worth getting on single especially for those who like the Jaxx's production style, but with all the compilations predicted to come out with this tune soon, it would be better to wait for those people who just like the original tune.
