Jay Tripwire - The Denver Diner EP

  • With not a swine sample in sight, Jay Tripwire’s latest release 'The Denver Diner EP' features the fat percussive roller 'Eat Your Bacon'. It’s one of those tunes that belongs in a record bag and is dealt when it’s time to get all funky on the floor. The bassline is funky, the rhythms are funky and the whole damn percussive orchestra (featuring miss piggy and arnold off green acres) is funky. The flip side 'Savour It' is a deep and dubby affair done in trademark Tripwire style with a hint of flute action to round it off. It’s 'Bacon' that gets my order though. 'The Denver Diner EP' is the second issue to come from Household Recordings in the US and won’t be the last dance floor shaker to come from this upcoming label. Out on import now or on the rack of your local for a short time. Check household to find out whose serving up the next course.
