- To start off, this is quite possibly one of the biggest releases this year in terms of class. Deep Dish Teased many at WMC with the Rob Rives mix and in turn became one of the most requested tracks from the Yoshitoshi crew. From appearing on the “In House We Trust 2” compilation to big name support including Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo, there is no doubt that this double pack will be greatly received by many.
The Rob Rives mix is quite simply the most stunning mix I’ve heard in a long time. Starting off deep, we see it go into a gracious break down with beautiful, mellow synths. From there the track rolls out with the full vocal and continues in true euphoric fashion.
The Rob Rive dub is a much tougher affair. Menacing basslines really beef this track up with a barrage of noises, hit hats and percussion.
The Thomas Schumacher mix is one techno mix which can be very versatile in any set. Consisting of a thumbing bass drum and a rather minimal melody, Thomas makes sure he gets his hands dirty later on with some nasty effects on the FX board that builds and dies with the rhythm.
The Gee Shock mix gives yet another dose of solid beats if you haven’t already had enough from the above. This driving, rolling mix is relentless with no time to rest.
