  • Lee Burridge together with Craig Richards make up the well known name of Tyrant. Their previous two smashing Tyrant CD releases together with their dynamism as a team behind the decks have won them a huge number of fans across the globe. Their monthly residency at Fabric in London is something that is looked forward to by many, so we headed down - looking forward to a huge night ahead. On arrival at 11:00pm there was no major queues. This was a little unexpected as our previous Fabric adventure on a Friday night had massive queues around the block. However, Fabric still drew a very strong crowd, perfect really - there was loads of people everywhere and just enough room to move on the dance floor. This Saturday night (sept. 21) saw Lee and Craig take to the decks for four and a half hours of full-blown Tyrant madness. Burridge was straight off the plane and fresh as a daisy from his gig in Athens, meeting up with Craig Richards in the dj booth as the Sender Records Jake Fairly was finishing off his live set. At 2:30am Craig and Lee took to the decks in Room One of Fabric and boy did they put on a show, whipping the crowd to a frenzy with their unique brand of raw, stripped back progressive house. Over in the Room Two DJ Dan stepped up to the plate at 3:30am and layed down some banging techno following the efforts of Nick Rapacciolli and Jonathon Cooke. He played some big tracks, but essentially we were there for Tyrant (unashamedly biased we are!). And in Room One for Tyrant was where we spent a majority of our night. The music was just amazing, much different than you would hear from anyone else. Tyrant performing monthly at one of London's most happening clubs, Fabric, is the perfect combination for constantly clubbing pleasure. We departed sometime after 6am more than happy with the amazing night that was provided. The link the photos from the event are below....
