- Alex Dolby first release Obsessive Sound on the Mantra imprint early in 2005, and it now resurfaces on the label armed with 2 new remixes from two very good talents.
First up is the Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E. Mix, and they deliver a pretty subdued progressive mix. The track rolls along nicely with a quirky bass tone and acid riff, and although the track is quite solid, especially with the deep basslines, it just lacks a killer edge.
The Ajello Mix on the flipside lifts the quality up a notch with some very delicate melodies the flow quite well with the gritty basslines that roll with the production. Midway into the track, Ajello introduces a cheeky electro riff that adds another slice of life to this already great production, and rounds off a pretty solid release by the Mantra crew.
