- Italian Dj/producer Matteo Esse teams up with Sant for another cut of pure house music in the shape of The bass gets move.Esse already has a string of high profile tracks and remixes under his belt on labels such as suSU, Cr2 ,Universal, Oxyd and Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried records.
The main take is the Original mix blasting off with a droning bunch of bell like sounds on top of cut up broken rhythms,setting the pace of what's to follow as the groove builds with a catchy mix of clackety,skippy percussive loops along with a wash of funk subtly working its way about the track.Added to the mix is the vocal,reinforcing the feel good factor.
On the flip side is the Phunk investigation remix creating a high octane dose of energetic beats and angry synth stabs that together with a poppy tonal melody, feeds in a deeper , darker mood.
There's also a Dub mix which irons out the rhythms with a more chunky feel complete with melodic synthlines and peaktime distorted guitar riffs to crank up the pressure.
