Willie Graff & Kyle Errison - Synergetic

  • Willie Graff is a resident both for Cielo and Pacha, two of the hottest clubs in the world. This might explain why he produces such dope music. “Synergetic” hits us right off the bat with tight maracas and an echoed stab until the, very groovy, electric bass line kicks in. A soft pad seeps thru at 1:30 adding warmth and dynamics. Shortly after, a break kicks in as a hip cowbell is laced into the hook working itself until a soft pad with tight percussion and a background loop build to 4 minutes. The sequence is switched around a bit for a change of pace, breaking down, until the bass line kicks back in on a different melody destroying all dance floors. A true magic carpet ride. Martinez, needing no intro, gives us a more minimal groove for his remix on the flip side. Starting with a simple loop for the first minute, he hits us with a distant cowbell brought in with a crunched up vocal. A riding bass line and guitar rhythms soon enter in the background, building into a sweet break with just the kick and bass line. At 3 minutes everything comes back in bridging until 4 minutes when a sweep sets off a paddy back loop. This loop creates more dynamics and frenzy building until the last break and crescendo -- awesome for the minimal monster in you.
