- Next up on the Nu Republic imprint is a highly anticipated release from the ever consistent Nick Muir who this time utilizes the vocals from Craig Walker to create a progressive anthem with Savin You.
The Original Mix is first up, and this is the same version that featured on Hernan Cattaneo’s Masters 2 mix. It is quite simply a stunning track and almost reminiscent of a Bedrock production as the track build beautifully early on with some nice subtle melodic patterns combining well with a strong set of beats and percussion. A quite devastating baseline soon enters alongside a swirling melodic riff that acts as the spine of this great production. The soothing vocal patterns soon make their presence felt as the track then dives into a stunning breakdown that epitimises the quality of the track.
The Electro Dub Mix on the flip for me isn’t as strong as the Original, yet it still has a good play to part in this release with its crisp beats, deep rumbling baselines and gritty electro synths.
A great release here from Muir that will definitely please the Progressive enthusiasts.
