- The next installment from Cp recordings comes hot on the heels of Habershams scary "Gently shifting people" and this time round we see Italian duo Niki B & Christian Effe get down to the business of creating a steady groover from the start , after all this is what we expect as standard .
The African song is body moving music complete with bouncy bassline that gets the feet shuffling along with a tight mix of percussion that borders on the techy side. Things take a darker turn as the track builds down with fx sounds and a delayed ethnic vocal creeps in and beacons us further . All the time the bassline groove lurks in the background while airy sweeps ,fx stabs and developed percussion keep up the pace . The track breaks once more with silence and just when not expecting kicks back in with that feel good bassline.
The re-take comes from Baunder who creates a more energetic flow with steady hats and bassline yet working in a melody that gradually builds and unfolds along with the vocal . Baunder as we've seen in other projects builds tracks to a level , notching down briefly and taking it up once more and working the melodies for peaktime effect .
