- After Joshua Collins graced Music Is Freedom with his excellent remixes of Ground Down by Ladybyrd, it is now time for label manager Paolo Mojo as well as Atlanta based Habersham to unleash their interpretations.
First up is Paolo Mojo’s Cool Breeze Remix, and I must say that is it very impressive, and very much in character with the recent form he has been showing in the last year or so. Very smooth on the whole, the track flows very nicely with some nice crisp warm drum patterns, tender baselines and the uplifting vibes of subtle synths as well as the main vocals. A very suitable production for the upcoming summer vibes in the UK and US.
On the flip is Habersham’s I Told You So Remix, and as usual he delivers another quality piece of work. Very crisp percussion and drums meet a techy baseline and ultra smooth vocals. Quirky behaviour is still included midway is as broken beats merge into the production, all while the baseline continues to drive the production forward. Cutting edge stuff from Habersham.
Another quality set of remixes for this fine track with both mixes equally as impressive.
