Brancaccio & Aisher – Everybody

  • Brancaccio & Aisher return to the forefront with their highly anticipated follow up to their massive single, ‘Lovely Day’. ’Everybody’ is the new release and it already has received close attention and scrutiny by trainspotters worldwide. On the a-side is the Original Mix which many will be inclined to really like, or really dislike. I’ll sit on the fence and say it’s a fun production which is sure to have a dancefloor appeal. Stuttered drums begin the production followed closely by the distinctive vocals of this track. The even more distinctive electro melody line soon takes control. The vocal soon comes back in and rides over the melody as well as the baseline underneath it all giving it the drive. Deep into the track, the vocal builds it up again while the electro melody goes twisted and screeches its way along. You decide. On the flip is the King Britt Scuba Mix. Very much a man in form, this mix certainly helps this release. A quirky 4/4 pattern meets a nice looped synth structure, while the vocals take a bit of a backseat in this remix. It maintains a pretty solid flow throughout and takes another step deep into the track with a nice but subtle 80’s like melody. Not a bad rework at all. What to make of this interesting release. It’s sure to be another big hit. Some will love it and some will be rearing to crack the slab of vinyl into 30 odd pieces. The King Britt mix will definitely add value to the release. Check it out and make your own mind up, as for the moment, i'll sit on the fence.
