- Some astute A&R seems to be at work within the Hot Creations camp at the moment. After all, it must be a tough job, trying to continually meld as many influences as possible into the same general shape time after time. However, quality control remains high and although it would be nice to see the label go out on a limb occasionally, when it hits its stride the results are often beguiling. This release is a joint venture between Brazilians Digitaria and Funky Fat but they only team up for two of the four tracks. Those in question, along with "Crazy Life" are characterised by a slower tempo and an electro slant. Digitaria's other effort, the standout track "Paradise..." is a little different. It's here that the darkness and plastic funk subside and the groove takes off, offering something a little different, but still retaining the ubiquitous breathy female vocals.
