About

  • No Agenda is a new collective based on dropping the “pretensions” in dance music, running parties and releasing music where the rules and conventions fall by the wayside in favour of vibe and attitude. An electronic music experiment, a collective of creative, like-minded house music enthusiasts thrown together with no limitations or possibilities, no rules, no bullshit... No Agenda. Since starting eight months ago the collective has already caught the eyes and ears of the wider dance music community, not least with house heroes Groove Armada and Cassius who professed their love for the gutsy back to basics approach that has been dominant. The focus on good quality house music to stand the test of time rather than slavering to trends has seen the name quickly become synonymous with high grade underground values. They’ve already built up a strong roster of talent, including Claus Willhelm, Jamille Joette and Him_Self_Her, which is representative of artists in the UK, Mainland Europe and North and South America. Their fervent following has seen them amass over 1000 fans on Facebook, and 14,300 plays on Soundcloud as well as an army of over 4000 followers. The label has already seen eight releases, with a busy start to 2013 set to further enhance their reputation. Next to come is the Autoparty E.P. by Russian duo Mogler, showcasing the variety and ingenuity of the No Agenda stable, before Claus Willhelm and Jamille Joette deliver individual E.P.s. The former has been the most prolific remixer and producer for the label so far, his deft brand of deep melodic house perfectly demonstrating the ethos perfectly and picking up support form Waifs and Strays, Robert Owens, Jobe, Raffa FL and DJ Paulette. Other fans of the label have included Rob Roar, Inland Knights and the aforementioned Groove Armada, with Tom Findlay a supporter of near enough every release.
