Who are we?
RETROFIT is the boutique label series from UK producer Jay Shepheard. With an ear for the past and and eye on the future the label marry classic electronic musical themes with current dance floor sound and concepts.
RETROFIT project got off to a cracking start in February 2010, the first release achieving top positions on the vinyl and download charts of the major stores and receiving DJ support from such modern luminaries as The Revenge, Catz N Dogz, dOP and Brendon Moeller.
For RETROFIT 2 Jay teamed up with Matthew Burton and his partner Kate Rathod to deliver a fine slice of electronic deepness for the second installment.
After summer break RETROFIT was back on the scene with 3rd installment- a collaboration from label boss Jay Shepheard and the highly talented Polish artist Tad Wily on bass, guitar, percussion and synth.
RETROFIT 4 rounded off Jay's year in fine style as he stepped up solo and delivered 3 deep & driving cuts for any Dj's needs.
For RETROFIT 5 Shepheard teamed up with Matthew Burton for a second outing of ultra deep dance floor cuts.
RETROFIT 6 is the deep disco cuts courtesy of Rudy’s Midnight Machine, the brainchild of Faze Action collaborator Robin Lee.
