Music Is Freedom has a great heritage. Paolo ran and owned Entermusic Recordings, set up to provide a platform for his productions and to complement his burgeoning DJ career. Narcotik ‘Conditions’ was the first release from Enter in 2001. Further releases throughout 2002 maintained the same quality and diversity; Renaissance’ Hellpass produced a dark, rolling main room moment under his Dark Horse moniker ‘Life For Ever’ - while Arno Asmus (aka Revolt of Bedrock, Choo Choo and Yoshitoshi fame), provided a very cool slice of dark underground house with his exclusive entermusic alter ego ‘Organic Soul’. Entermusic found favour with like-minded DJs and punters, the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Danny Howells, 16b, Hernan Cattaneo and Cass numbering among the labels high profile supporters.
Now Music Is Freedom takes this on a stage further with an open-minded musical policy and a label ‘sound’ that is diverse whilst retaining the distinct funky vibe of Paolo’s DJ sets.
