"There are a few controls under privacy in the profile settings to change access levels on your profile as well as remove yourself from user searches. More options were added to the subscription/notification settings when the user system was upgraded a few months back too. We'll be adding more controls in the coming weeks. So keep an eye out. Until then... you'll need to hit that deny button. Don't be afraid."
