  • Guy Gerber's mind runs a mile a minute. The Israeli electronic music export is constantly at battle with himself, trying to allow himself to simply relax and enjoy the ride. That much was clear, at least, when we talked to him this week for the 99th edition of the RA Exchange. When he does slow down a bit, though, the results are undeniable: He's had enormous hits like "Stoppage Time" send his then-nascent career into overdrive, worked on a secret electronic project with Diddy and, lately, crafted the latest in fabric's vaunted mix series. There have been plenty of highlights in between. A visit to a psychic was the catalyst behind one of his biggest tunes; his first appearance at Time Warp changed his mind about techno forever. Gerber goes deeply into all of this in one of our most revealing Exchanges yet in advance of his appearance at this year's South West Four.
