  • When it comes to club culture, Terry Farley has been there, done it and bought the 12-inch. He was dressing like a punk before the punks and was dancing to rare groove before it was a revivalist scene. Later he was partly responsible for the first article ever written about acid house and the first outdoor house music rave in the UK. This was all a preamble to an astonishing run in the '90s. As part of the Boy's Own and Junior Boy's Own collectives, he helped discover the likes of Andrew Weatherall, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld and X-Press 2, all while maintaining a notable production career with Pete Heller. In conversation with Stephen Titmus, Farley relayed his colourful past and weighed in on the state of London's modern house music scene.
