  • Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs isn't exactly a name that rolls off the tongue, but it certainly sticks in your mind. In the same way, Orlando Higginbottom's blend of electro, house, pop and bass music has an undeniably infectious charm that's helped him to emerge as one of the UK's most refreshing new producers. Higginbottom first found success through his relationship with the Greco-Roman label. Word of his high-energy live performances spread quickly, and following a steady stream of EPs and remixes, he eventually signed to Polydor for his debut album, Trouble. He's since become involved with Damon Albarn's D.R.C Music project, and more recently Crosstown Rebels, who are about to release Higginbottom's debut mix CD. All of these things were high on the agenda when RA contributor Ben Gomori sat down with Higginbottom in London earlier this week. Photo credit: Stephanie Sian Smith
