Berlin radio station HÖR has released a compilation raising funds for nonprofit humanitarian organisation HEAL Palestine.
Out today, HÖR For Palestine VA spans 11 tracks by the likes of Matrixxman, Chupacabras, Levente, NSASI and Alessandro Adriani & Tasha Safari. All proceeds from the release will go to HEAL, which provides urgent aid, food and medical support to children in Gaza.
"Once again, we call for an urgent and permanent ceasefire, a hostage deal, and an end to the occupation, oppression and violence that is inflicted on the Palestinian people," reads a message on the compilation's Bandcamp page. "We support the right to freedom, self-determination and liberation of Palestine."
Founded in 2019 by Tel Aviv-born Ori Itshaky and Doron Charly Mastey, HÖR came under fire late last year after being accused of censoring pro-Palestine clothing worn by two performers. The station issued a statement in response, while members of the community called for a boycott and numerous artists asked for their sets to be removed from the archive. HÖR continues to host regular streams from its Berlin HQ.
