A new Robert Hood EP is on the way next month.
Spanning four techno cuts, Alpha Key will be the minimal pioneer's first release under his given name since 2022's Hectic / Amazon Dust. It'll be available digitally and on vinyl via his M-Plant label.
The EP follows the release of Variations, Hood's live jazz set alongside Femi Kuti, saxophonist and eldest son of Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti. The press release for Alpha Key also mentions an upcoming Floorplan album on Classic Music Company, details of which are TBA.
