  • Pioneer DJ has released a new four-channel mixer aimed at DJs. The DJM-A9 is the successor to the DJM-900NXS2, which landed in 2016. The new, larger mixer includes upgrades to the sound quality (32-bit A/D converter instead of 24 bit), microphone FX, bluetooth connectivity, USB inputs and Sound Color FX knob, which you can now lock to the centre. Pioneer DJ has also added new channel faders and a MAGVEL FADER crossfader. The channel LEDs have been upgraded, and there's more space around the EQ knobs. Two headphones inputs, complete with separate cue buttons, volume knobs and mix balance knobs, mean two DJs can listen simultaneously—useful for changeovers or back-to-backs. Read in more detail about the DJM-A9, and watch a walkthrough video.
The DJM-A9 is available now for £2,469.
