  • ALM/Busy Circuits' new SQUID SALMPLE is out now. Full details are now available for the new module, which was initially revealed at Superbooth back in 2018. Capable of sampling both audio and control voltages, the SQUID SALMPLE is built for real-time sampling and sample manipulation in Eurorack systems. While it takes inspiration from early hardware samplers, its eight tracks can sample up to 11 seconds each at 44.1 kHz and 16 bit, with sounds being stored in on-board RAM for low latency playback. Each channel has controls for numerous parameters, including bit depth, playback speed and direction, which can be accessed by three CV inputs that can be assigned to the parameter of your choice. You can also save and load sounds and banks to a USB during playback, allowing you to swap entire kits during performances, while a USB shipping with the unit contains 90 banks of samples curated by artists like Dave Burraston, Russel Haswell, Solid Blake and Mumdance. SQUID SALMPLE is shipping now via ALM / Busy Circuits for £399. Watch demos of the SQUID SALMPLE.
