- Das Heise Experiment 2 (The Prequel), a picture disc, comes ahead of an album due out later this year.
German electro label Solar One Music will release a new EP from The Exaltics that features a collaboration with Drexciya's Gerald Donald in September.
Das Heise Experiment 2 (The Prequel) is a follow-up to label cofounder Robert Witschakowski's 2013 LP as The Exaltics, Das Heise Experiment, as well as a precursor to Das Heise Experiment 2, a new album expected at the end of the year. It'll take the form of a limited-edition, specially-shaped picture disc made in partnership with Dutch artist Godspill, who has worked previously with Solar One. A digital version will include three bonus tracks.
As Rudolf Klorzeiger, Donald will also appear on Das Heise Experiment 2, which will come with a comic book that tells the story of the Heise Experiment. The project continues a connection between Donald and Solar One, after the Drexciya man appeared on the Spiralgalaxie LP last fall.
