Definition Records label head Christian Fischer will release his debut artist album in December.
The producer responsible for memorable remixes on Statik and Soma has chosen to go the mix route with his initial bow into the album market, blending together each of the eleven tracks on the release to create a seamless journey. For those uninterested in such things, Fischer has you covered as well: Four color-coded EPs will see each track from the album released on vinyl.
The press notes claim that tracks like "Witch" are jazz-influenced, but we'll be damned if we can hear it. What we can say for sure, though, is that Fischer remixes Slam's "We're Not Here" and brought in Hybrid for a co-production credit on "I Know," while enlisting Sabrina Setlur for vocal duties on the track, which has a strong progressive edge.
