  • I'm a Cliché main man Cosmo Vitelli will be hitting Australia later this month. Often labeled as Europe's answer to DFA, the I'm a Cliché imprint has been ahead of the game with releasing tracks from then-unknowns Simian Mobile Disco and Yuksek. Vitelli's work sounds much the same. As he tells it, "I try to play disco music in a very large term, anything danceable is good enough to me." On the production front, his work under the name Bot'Ox—a collaboration with Tékël's Julien Briffaz—is an extension of that philosophy as well, exposing the duo's penchant for electro. Vitelli will be taking his DJ skills, though, to Australia for a short five date tour which will see him playing in most of the major cities on the continent. (Sorry Adelaide.) Expect some upfront music from IAC, as well as some classics from Vitelli's very large crate.
