Fabric celebrates its ninth

- Yes, it's that time of year again. Fabric are well known for putting on line-ups that make many a non-Londoner green with envy, and each year the bill for their birthday weekender seems to get more and more ridiculous. Drum & bass, breaks and electro house fans will be catered for by Friday's Fabriclive event, with Danish punk-funkers Who Made Who playing live in the main room alongside Plump DJs and Krafty Kuts. If house and techno are more your thing, then it's all about Saturday night's extravaganza. Luciano returns to the main room for yet another of his marathon DJ sets, backed up with sets from 20:20 Soundsystem's Ralph Lawson, Shinedoe and a live appearance from Martin Buttrich. The other rooms see a heavy Detroit presence, with Omar-S, Keith Worthy, Robert Hood and Patrice Scott flying in for the celebrations. With the closing time stretched all the way to 12pm, expect to see some sorry looking ravers at Farringdon tube station come Sunday afternoon.
