  • Indie dance faves The Rapture will release their debut mix album, Tapes, in October. The group are set to showcase just about every single one of their influences over the course of the mix, going from New York deep house to South African techno. You could call the tracklisting a mess, in fact, but we're sure that the boys pulled the mix off ably. The old school rock & roll of Richie Havens mixed into Galaxy 2 Galaxy? As the title of Alter Ego's track here asks, "Why not?" In fact, the only real question that we have about the whole thing is if Studio K7 is releasing this, why isn't this in the DJ Kicks series?
