  • Another year, another birthday bash. Makes enough sense. After Creamfields celebrated a decade with a suitably riotous 10th anniversary hootenanny at the tail end of last month, parent club night Cream returns for its annual birthday shindig at Nation on Saturday, October 11. Now in its 16th year of clubbing infamy, the founders have roped together another stellar line-up for the event. Obviously having enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend festival, Cream have called on the services of a fair few of the attractions from the Creamfields' line-up with a headline set coming courtesy of Paul Van Dyk a few weeks after his curtain closing performance at the Cheshire event. Festival jester hats and Kasabian's lumpen stomp will be noticeably absent, however, as current Cream Ibiza resident Adam Sheridan joins VD on the Main Stage alongside Gareth Wyn and young gun Rob H. Elsewhere the Nation's 1300 person capacity Courtyard room plays host to Sébastian Léger, Swedish duo Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, and Anthony Probyn, who helped roll in Cream's last birthday shenanigans. Finally, Cream darling Andy Mac, Chris Lake and Dave Spoon play the Annexe Room where it all kicked off in 1992 with weekly showcases.
