- The Swedish producer will release his debut artist album in October.
Style of Eye will unleash his debut artist album unto the world in October.
Entitled Duck, Cover & Hold, the record will see the producer of the hotly debated Dirtybird track "The Big Kazoo" going over to Pickadoll for this release. SoE has never been shy about shopping his tracks to labels, however, as he's racked up credits on Classic, Tiny Sticks and Rabid as well.
The press notes for the album claim that the producer "takes electronic music’s raw elements and bends them into danceable, emotive pieces of electronica," whatever that means. What we hear is a varied set of tunes that jump from genre to genre, while maintaining a relatively cohesive sound throughout. Which is, honestly, no mean feat. Don't mind us, though: You can make up your mind early in October when the album, which features a collaboration with fellow Swede Stephen Simmonds, drops on the John Dahlbäck-run imprint.
