- The DJ duo will release a mix commemorating the end of their Manchester club.
Mancunian DJ duo The Unabombers will release the third and final volume in their Electric Chair series in October.
The mix, entitled Electric Chair - Saved My Life will seek to encompass the night that the duo hosted at their club of the same name. Far from the type of obscure trawl through the crates that you might expect from Tirk, however, this is a collection of well-known tunes and certified classics from all sorts of genres. Metro Area, Isolée, Pépé Bradock, Faze Action, ESG, Rufus and Chaka Khan, the Joubert Singers: they're all here on this feel-good successor to Basement Soul Music and Saturday Night, Sunday Morning which moves from disco to funk to soul to R&B to techno to…well, you get the idea.
