- The dub-happy DJ will release his first mix in three years in October.
DJ /rupture will release his first mix in three years this October on the Agriculture label.
Entitled Uproot, the mix will be a celebration of sorts for the former resident of Spain as he settles in back in the United States after seven years abroad. The mix will of course be bass-heavy, containing tracks from producers such as Shackleton, Ghislain Poirier, and more, but there will also be experimental sidelights like Ekkehard Ehlers' ambient "Plays John Cassavetes Pt. 2" and illbient outfit We(TM)'s "Second-Hand Science."
Rupture mixes these elements quickly, so for those interested in hearing the elements in their full glory, be on the lookout for a compilation entitled Ingredients to be released later in the year on Agriculture as well.
