French troublemakers Nôze drop their new album Songs on the Rocks on Get Physical next month.
Nôze are known for their riotous live show, taking off their clothes in public, and top pop tech house tracks such as ‘Remember Love’ and ‘Kitchen’.
Both of these tracks feature on Songs On The Rocks, which promises to be more song-based and instrumentally rich than previous records. Expect proper love songs (‘Danse Avec Moi’ with Dani Siciliano on vocals), bar room boogie-woogie (‘Little Bug’), cinematic tech house (‘Slum Girl’) and a rejigged reading of their 2005 hit ‘Kitchen’, this time reimagined as a reflective piano ballad, albeit still retaining those rude lyrics. Check out the original version of ‘Kitchen’ on video for a bit of a singalong.
