Latest compilation on Munich deep house output Compost comes from up-and-comer Jay Shepheard. Compost Blacklabel Series Vol.3 drops in early May.
Veteran label Compost are most known for jazzy soulful offerings, but their Blacklabel series was started three years ago to offer DJs more housey and tech fare. Think less strings, more bleeps. So far they have 30 or so releases on the label, and for their third summary Compost have recruited Blacklabel act and Londoner Jay Shepheard to mix ‘em together. Expect house, deep house and exposure to a few smaller names.
