Swiss punk funker Headman aka Robi Insinna drops his third longplayer Catch Me this March.
Insinna's It Rough (2000) album spearheaded the disco punk funk movement alongside the likes of DFA and Playgroup while second LP On ventured into more indie territory with big names on the mic such as The Rapture's Matt Safer and Stephen Dewaele from Soulwax.
Recorded at Berlin’s legendary HANSA studios, home to sessions from the likes of David Bowie and Iggy Pop, Catch Me is billed as Insinna's most mature work yet as a songwriter. The album arrives on Munich disco stable Gomma and includes vocals from Tara, Anton Spivac, A Certain Ratio's Jeremy Kerr, plus new wave rapper Don Cash. You can stream a medley of tracks from the album on Headman's homepage.
