Steve Bug and Clé from the Märtini Brös contribute a disc each to Poker Flat's latest 2CD comp Dead Man's Hand - Poker Flat Recordings Volume 6 due out in March.
Poker Flat have been playing their cards right for ten years. In fact, the label run by Steve Bug will issue its bicentennial—yep, that means 200th (!)—release this summer.
Dead Man's Hand reflects the deeper direction the label has moved to in the last eighteen months. Disc one is an unmixed selection selected by Bug with previously released originals and remixes from Redshape, Aril Brikha and Martin Landsky as well as new material from Dan Berkson & James What and Jeff making the cut. Clé takes the reins on disc two, mixing up fourteen more label picks including three Märtini Brös selections. Like previous volumes, the unreleased tracks from both discs will be issued as a double vinyl pack.
