  • Singapore heats up next month for Zoukout, the annual outdoor rave-up put on by the island's long-running superclub Zouk. The dusk till dawn party happens on the white sands of Siloso Beach with the locals turning out in board shorts and bikinis, and in their thousands. This year, despite the usual "strictly no swimming" warnings, partygoers can actually get wet as organisers have ordered in a three-storey high inflatable water slide, the biggest to be blown up in Asia yet. Musically, the 2007 line-up has something for everyone. There's techno (Carl Cox), trance (Armin Van Buuren), electrohouse (Booka Shade), deep house (Âme), house (Osunlade), turntablism (DJ Craze), indie disco (James Murphy & Pat Mahoney) and dance rock (Does it Offend You Yeah?) alongside Zouk's resident DJs (Jeremy Boon, Andrew Chow, Tony Tay, Brendon P, djB, Aldrin), and local bands. If they can't get you on your feet, there's also a roving drum circle where you can jump in and make your own music, of sorts. Dec 9 Zoukout, Siloso Beach, Sentosaa
