  • London breaks night Chew The Fat! celebrates ten years with a birthday party this Friday at The End. Originally a breaks night set up by Paul Arnold, these days Chew The Fat! is branching out into other genres and cities too. Recent guests have included 2020 Vision's Paul Woolford, dubstep genius Skream and electrohouse don D. Ramirez, and this past summer CTF also hosted the Red Box at We love...Sundays at Space in Ibiza. For their tenth birthday, CTF has focused on its future rather than the past. Tayo brings his bassline breaks and dubstep to the main room alongside Breakspoll 2007 winner The Rogue Element, Marine Parade's latest signing Alex Metric and CTF residents Jem from Precision Cuts and Kid Blue. "Our tenth Anniversary line-up is not about getting in the same old big names. We want it to represent the DJs and producers who are cutting it right now as well as showing how we have developed over the last ten years," says founder Paul Arnold, who'll also be on deck duties. Filling out the night is Cagedbaby, who'll spin in The Bar alongside the Fly Society residents. There's good news for Chew The Fat! fans outside of London too with birthday bashes happening throughout the UK as well as in Germany, Spain and Austria. Check RA Events for full details.
