Motech label head DJ 3000 mixes the ninth volume in the Ekspozicija mix CD series. 'Ekspozicija 09: The Detroit Connection Pt.2' arrives in mid-November.
Detroit born and bred, DJ 3000 runs Motech as an outlet for his own productions and collaborations, which aim to fuse techno/electro with Albanian and Middle Eastern rhythms. Plenty of those in evidence on his volume of 'Ekspozicija' - the mix series on Umek's Solvenian label Explicit/Matrix Music - alongside Detroit and Detroit-inspired twelves from Robert Hood, Octave One, Ican and Suburban Knight.
'Ekspozicija 09: The Detroit Connection Pt. 2' follows on from previous volumes in the series by Kevin Saunderson, DJ Rush, Marco Bailey, Christian Smith and Slam.
