  • Berlin DJ and producer Dave DK drops his debut longplayer 'Lights and Colours' next month. Dave DK used to be a resident at the old Tresor and Panoramabar clubs in Berlin, but these days he's making waves outside of the city with his productions. His sound is not easy to categorize: part minimal house and part electro, his recent twelves for Moodmusic ('Sweet Yellow', 'Okinawa Dance') and Playhouse ('Rainshower') have been pricking up ears with their slow builds and strong synth work. "I have a passion for the wide range between house and techno as well as pop music and dancefloor stuff of the early 90's", says Dave. 'Lights and Colours' promises ten new tracks in the same vein, and arrives on Moodmusic, home of Berlin deep house DJ Sasse aka Freestyle Man. To celebrate the release of the album, RA is offering the lead single as an exclusive download to readers for a limited time only. The low slung 'Volar' is a collaboration between Dave DK and Tigerskin aka Dub Taylor. Get in! Free download: Dave DK - Volar (download limit reached) Tracklist 1. Sweet Yellow 2. Prism 3.
