Progressive trance duo Gabriel & Dresden bet on electrohouse on their latest compilation 'Toolroom Knights Vol. 2', due out in October.
Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden are best known for their trancey rethinks of pop acts such as The Killers, Madonna and Dave Gahan as well as the vocal trance number 'As the Rush Comes', which crossed over into the pop charts in 2004. But the pair are also in-demand DJs, regularly taking their Organized Nature label nights to clubs across North America as well as playing big festivals in Europe, Australia and South America. They've also had some unusual clients. In 2006, they mixed the soundtrack to TV series 'Nip/Tuck'.
Next up, the pair get behind the decks for Mark Knight's Toolroom label. 'Toolrom Knights Vol.2' is a double CD including tracks by Stephan Bodzin, Thomas Schumacher and Eyerer & Namito plus cuts from the Toolroom catalogue by D.Ramirez & Mark Knight, Shlomi Aber & Itamar Sagi and Dubfire. The compilation is also peppered with G&D originals and remixes as well as two new solo cuts by Gabriel.
