London night Closer brings techno up close and personal to the capital next weekend with Kevin Saunderson and Ben Sims behind the decks. Closer is a newish night dedicated to bringing a more "unrestrained, unrestricted" side of techno back to the city with a focus on less trendy names. The night is also about taking the party back into smaller, more intimate venues like the Corsica Studios, which hosted the first Closer with Luke Slater in April. The next party is slated for a warehouse location in central London with special guests including techno Godfather Kevin Saunderson as well as London flagbearer Ben Sims and tribal don Mark Williams. If you like labels such as Ingoma and Subject Detroit, this one's for you. Support on the night comes from Steve Strawberry, the Hello Techno My Old Friend DJs, Jon Gurd and Niall Gillland.
