- CEO Matt Tolfrey gets behind the decks for the Leftroom label compilation ‘Don’t Be Leftout’.
CEO Matt Tolfrey mixes ‘Don’t Be Leftout’, a new label mix from Leftroom Records.
Born in 2005, Leftroom has developed into one of the most reliable UK labels, releasing acclaimed 12”s at the minimal end of house and techno - Ito & Star 'Sudoko Kid' especially got a thorough rinsing at the beginning of this year.
Mixed by label head Matt Tolfrey, 'Don't Be Leftout' includes Leftroom tracks from the likes of San Francisco’s Worthy and Justin Martin, recent Minus signings Skoozbot and Ambivalent as well as new cuts from established producers such as Alexi Delano and Raudive. There are also cuts from Leftroom resident producers Marc Ashken and Szenario, aka Ed Davenport, as well as up and coming British talents Simon Baker, Glimpse and MarcAshken. RA tip: the CB Funk Remix of 'Root Rot' is hot.
